Secondary school at IPS Cascais

Years 7 and 8 available from September 2023The Secondary years are exciting for pupils. As they gain more independence in their learning, we develop their personal strengths and interests with a broad and stimulating curriculum delivered within a supportive, caring environment. IPS Cascais educates the whole child.

IPS Cascais ensures a smooth transition between Primary and Secondary with consistent assessment and reporting procedures to extend and deepen knowledge, understanding and skills in each subject. As pupils move into Key Stages 3 and 4, they develop more independence and responsibility for their learning. 

We take pride in ensuring that we provide the highest quality teachers to provide specialist provision in each curriculum area. Our teachers communicate a passion for their subjects and instil this in our pupils. 

Curriculum

We offer the English National Curriculum from Foundation Stage to Year 11, followed by the International Baccalaureate for Years 12 and 13.

IPS Cascais Secondary School campus

From 2024, our Secondary School will move to a beautiful new campus with excellent, specialist facilities close to the current site. 

We will build on the strong foundations set in our Primary School. The emphasis will remain on setting the highest education standards in a kind, supportive atmosphere.
