Open Mornings at IPS Cascais

About IPS Cascais

IPS Cascais is a British International School close to Lisbon. Our friendly, well-established school started with five pupils and has grown over the last 40 years into an international community of 500 students from over 40 nationalities. We offer the National Curriculum for England from Foundation Stage to Secondary. As pupils move into Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 they will be working towards achieving their iGCSEs, which they will undertake in Year 11, and A levels in Year 13. Our broad and balanced educational programme is designed to meet the needs of every individual student, creating an environment where learning is enjoyable and engaging.

In 2020, we joined Globeducate, one of the world’s leading education providers. Globeducate owns and operates more than 65 international schools in 11 countries. This is a group committed to excellence in British education across Europe allowing us to share best practice and ensure consistently strong education within all our schools.

New Secondary School

After more than 40 years of excellence in Primary education, IPS Cascais has opened its new Secondary School.

Our Secondary School offers education from Year 7 to Year 13 and prepares students for entry into leading universities worldwide.

The school is located close to the current Primary School and is purpose-built with student learning at the centre. It features specialist classrooms, science labs, a fully equipped library, IT suites, and modern sports facilities for activities such as football, basketball, tennis, and hockey. Green areas for wellbeing, quiet study, and outdoor learning will further enhance student life.

This expansion allows us to offer all educational stages from 3 to 18 years old, without losing sight of one of our most cherished hallmarks: providing a warm and supportive environment in which each student is known, encouraged and cared for, both academically and pastorally.
