New Secondary School opening in September 2026
Our Secondary School will soon move into a new campus with specialist facilities close to the current site. Our Secondary School will deliver an educational programme from Years 7 up to Year 13, ensuring pupils get the qualifications and experiences for them to take to universities across the world.
The Secondary School is being designed with our pupils learning at heart. It will consist of versatile teaching spaces that will help to deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning here at IPS Cascais.
Meet the team
During your visit, you will be immersed in our school environment, observing pupils learning in a variety of environments alongside our predominantly native English-speaking teaching team.
Our Teachers and Staff are very friendly and when appropriate, may come and have a chat. Our Staff all have experience teaching a British curriculum and will be combining hands-on experiential learning, real-life contexts; building a strong academic foundation. Our educators aim to see pupils develop essential skills such as critical thinking, independence and communication, preparing them to succeed in a rapidly changing global world.

English is the language of instruction throughout the school. We follow the National Curriculum for England, adapted for an international context.
IGCSEs are followed in Years 10 and 11. Once available, A-Levels will be available for Years 12 and 13.
