Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and all subjects are taught in line with developments in Britain. A strong emphasis is placed on English, especially literacy, and Mathematics, especially numeracy.
The curriculum and teaching methods used will vary from class to class according to the needs of the children and the strengths of the teachers.
Teachers regularly assess the different abilities and interests of the children both as individuals and as a group, so that the range and the pace of the programmes are set appropriately.
Teaching is carried out by qualified, experienced and enthusiastic teachers. Full time assistants are also employed in the Early Years classes (Nursery to Year 2), ensuring a low pupil-adult ratio.
I.P.S. is committed to ensuring that its staff is up to date with the latest educational practices and prioritises the continued training and professional development of teachers.
